First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown (FPCP)
This is our Pre-Pandemic Page. It's a snapshot of many wonderful things we always did together, in person, before COVID-19.
This is also our Post-Pandemic Page, because we will do these wonderful things together, again, when it's safe to gather.
We miss spending Sunday mornings in our historic sanctuary; hearing gorgeous music by Tom and the Chancel Choir; having coffee and a chat in the fellowship hall; seeing children in our Sunday school room; cooking in the kitchen; and working on mission and outreach and education and Green Team projects in our building and in our community. Most of all, we miss that joyful and peaceful feeling of seeing you in person, singing and praying and laughing, all of us together.
But we're also proud of what our small but mighty congregation has managed to do during this health and economic crisis. We're still helping neighbors in need, still working and praying together as a community, still learning and growing. And that's a beautiful thing. Until we can gather in person: Be well, be safe. Enjoy this snapshot of the past and future!

Doing all we can. During this health and economic crisis, we are thankful our congregation has been able to continue serving neighbors in need through our critical mission and outreach programs, like the Philipstown Food Pantry and Midnight Run.
If you feel called to support our outreach work, we warmly welcome your contributions -- including food collections for the Pantry, safe volunteer efforts, and tax-deductible donations. To donate online by credit card or PayPal, just click the gold "Donate" button at the left. You can tell us exactly where you'd like to direct your donation. Just click on the words: "Add special instructions to the seller." This provides you with a box to fill in. You can tell us to apply your gift to the "Midnight Run," the "Food Pantry," the "Children's Nursery School Scholarship Fund," "General Support," etc. Thank you for your sharing what you can! |
